ZEST ELECTRICAL SPONSOR A SCIENCE LABORABTORY IN ENNERDALE

Mathematics and science at school are vital to higher education, skilled jobs, and the national economy. For this reason, Touch Africa has been embarking on the installation of Science Laboratories at worthy schools.

Recently, together with Zest Electrical and Mnet (who proposed the project) we installed a laboratory at the Odin Park Primary School.

The children at the Odin Park Primary School in Ennerdale, Gauteng, had never had access to a science laboratory which resulted in poor marks being achieved. Simply put, without the equipment to test the theories they were being taught, the concepts were not totally understandable.

Now with the investment provided by both Zest Electrical and Mnet Cares, children are experiencing the joy and wonders of a state-of-the art laboratory and enjoying the practical environment. This investment will reap benefits long into the future as the passion for science is ignited at primary school level.
